Tony joined the SignalFire team in 2021 to source, evaluate and support venture and growth-stage investments, in addition to expanding the investment team’s presence on the East Coast, specifically in NYC.

Prior to joining SignalFire, Tony worked as an investor on the growth equity investment team at Bregal Sagemount, focusing on enterprise software and tech-enabled services. He began his career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Tony holds a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University. In college, he served as CFO for a regional credit union with $17M in assets. This came after a stint as interim CTO, where he led an effort to become the first customer of a seed-stage FinTech startup that launched the credit union's modern mobile banking platform.

Tony’s interest in the intersection between business and technology began in his youth, when he started selling customized gaming PCs at age 12. He then tried his hand in the MSP industry and worked as an apprentice at an engineering design firm, before founding an SAT/ACT tutoring business in his hometown of Freehold, NJ (where, as he will often remind you, Bruce Springsteen grew up) that helped pay his way through college.

Outside of work, Tony enjoys playing basketball and soccer (though only as keeper), and hang gliding when he has the time. Depending on the season, you'll likely find him obsessing either over fantasy football or the New York Yankees.
