Michael is a software engineer from Google and Facebook with extensive systems, scalable software, and site operations experience. He is currently the technical lead for Google Cloud Spanner. An original GoogleNews team member, he served as technical lead for news infrastructure, with broad experience in backend, frontend, search quality, and scalability.
