Heather joined SignalFire as a Managing Director for People + Talent in 2021, and leads people and recruiting programs for the portfolio.
Prior to joining SignalFire, Heather was Vice President, People at Webflow where she was the first non-founder executive team member and oversaw Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Internal Communications and Events, Workplace, IT, and Executive Support during a period of hypergrowth. Prior to Webflow, Heather was Senior Vice President, People + Places at Rainforest QA, led the candidate side of marketplace at Hired, and was a member of the faculty at the University of San Francisco where she taught Organizational Leadership.
Actively involved in the people and talent leadership community, Heather is SHRM senior certified, serves on the PeopleTech Partners Advisory, and has served on the Forbes HR Council. She was honored as a top Talent Operator on the inaugural 2020 Anchor List and Top Women Leader in SaaS in the 2018 SaaS Report. Heather received a B.A. from University of California, San Diego in Writing, an M.A from Teachers College at Columbia University where she studied Adult Learning and Postsecondary Education, and a Doctorate of Education from the University of San Francisco where she studied Organization and Leadership. Her doctoral research focused on the intersection between gender and salary negotiation as well as recent college graduates navigating career opportunities in technology startup environments.
