Ding is a software engineer and data scientist. He is an expert in building and optimizing intelligent systems. He is currently the Head of Ads Engineering at Pinterest. He was an early staff engineer at Facebook after which he took engineering leadership positions at Pinterest, Square, DoorDash, etc. Ding holds a Ph.D. from Penn State and a Bachelor’s degree from Fudan University, both in computer science.
